There are some losses that change the shape of who we are.
The loss of a parent. A grandparent. A caregiver. Someone who raised us, loved us, guided us, or made us feel at home in the world.
Grief doesn’t always look the way we expect it to. Sometimes it’s sadness. Sometimes it’s anger. Sometimes it’s laughter, memories, longing, gratitude, or simply the ache of wishing you could hear their voice one more time.
This gathering is a space to honor all of it.
This is a space for those who have lost someone who cared for them and who want to come together in community to remember, connect, breathe, feel, and make room for both grief, joy and the many ways these experiences shape us
Together, we’ll hold space for:
Connection & shared stories
Remembering and honoring those we’ve lost
Gentle healing practices
Moments of reflection
Joy, laughter and lightness
Vegetarian Family-Style Meal
Being held in community with others who understand
This space will be lovingly held by Dyshni and Janine, two women who have experienced the loss of a parent and understand the many layers that can come with grieving someone who helped shape your life.
You don’t have to have the right words. You don’t have to show up feeling a certain way.
You simply get to come as you are.
You don’t have to grieve alone, there's a seat at the table for you:
